The hotel is located in a convenient location and is easily accessible ahead of Gatineau and Ottawa as well. The room was clean and tidy and had a microwave as well. No smell and thoughtful items provided in the room. Even a makeup remover wipe was present.
Very clean, quiet hotel. Beds are super comfy. Has a resto for breakfast, dinner - convenient if you are trying to catch a show at the casino. Easy parking.
Very clean modern rooms. NO CARPETS in the rooms !!! We were in a suite and it was great and A LOT cheaper than the Hilton. We went to have cocktails with friends in their suite at the Hilton and we were glad to have chosen to stay at the Holiday Inn across the street from the casino.
The pool was cold when we arrived. The air quality in my room was lacking. Bathroom always smelled like a porta- potty. And the exhaust fan was insufficient. The heater/ air conditioner filter was insanely dirty and I woke up every morning like I had a cold feeling stuffed up and foggy, also burning dust if you turned on the heat.
We recently stayed at this hotel with kids ( Standard Room - 2 Queen beds ). Our experience was great. Rooms were nicely designed. Service was great. Special thanks to Mary at front desk for going extra mile to ensure stay of kids was memorable. Something for hotel to look into - the washroom ventilation wasn’t working. There was no way to turn it on and I don’t believe it ran on its own. At some point we felt the washroom was too humid.
Beautiful and CLEAN hotel! The rooms are large and comfortable. The beds were firm without being uncomfortably firm. We actually checked out of another hotel in Gatineau because it was so terrible and this one was a lovely surprise. The service is fine but we didn’t interact with many of them. Pool is small but clean and refreshing, gym is basic but had what we needed. Overall an excellent stay and we’ll definitely be back.
Literally had the best sleep ever here. The bed and pillows were amazing. Better than some 5 stars I’ve been to. I’ll need to email the concierge to find out what mattress it was bc it was amazing!
The hotel was great—the beds were super comfortable and the staff were really friendly. We did have an issue with the first room since the sofa bed was broken, but the staff were kind enough to move us to another room. The only downside was the breakfast I paid extra for. When I went to get the voucher from the front desk, I was told only the person who made the reservation could have breakfast. That didn’t make sense to me—at every other hotel I’ve stayed at, breakfast is based on the number of guests in the room. The reservation already included all guest details, so there was no way to add more names. Am I really expected to make three separate reservations just so everyone can have breakfast?
